What its all about…

Hi, and welcome to Girl Moss.

I talk about fashion, women’s bodies, the ideas we attach to what we wear, and more. Here, insecurities are transformed into personal points of view.

Although I’ve mostly felt like an outsider, I have worked in the fashion industry for over 15 years. I never really belonged: I wasn’t thin, I had no sense of style (thankfully thats changed), I didn’t go to Central St Martins or have family friends who could get me into the industry.

Despite quitting on a number of occasions, trading Milan for Marrakech (and many other stops along the way), I was lured back, almost unwillingly, each time. So I’m here to give you the insider /outsider point of view.

You won’t find articles about “What’s trending this season” but you will find thoughts and explorations on “Why trends give me the ick” or why you might want to consider yourself as somebody who already has great style, you might just not know it yet.
